The agreement between you and Pep Depot covering how you use this website and every order you place. Written to be read, not skimmed past. Please review before ordering.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Pep Depot ("we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of the website at pepdepot.st (the "Site") and any purchase you make from us. By browsing the Site, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or place an order.
This is the most important term on this page, and it is not boilerplate to us. Every product sold by Pep Depot is supplied strictly for laboratory and research use only. Nothing we sell is intended, labeled, manufactured, or offered for human or veterinary use, for consumption of any kind, for diagnostic purposes, or for any therapeutic, clinical, or in-body application.
You are acquiring products solely for lawful research purposes; you have the knowledge, facilities, and training to handle research compounds safely; you will not use, resell, or represent any product for human or veterinary use; and you accept full responsibility for compliance with all laws that apply to you.
If you cannot make each of those confirmations, you are not permitted to order from Pep Depot.
To keep these Terms readable, a few words are used in a specific way throughout:
You must be the age of majority in your province or territory to place an order. By ordering, you represent that you meet this requirement, that the information you provide is accurate and complete, and that your acquisition and intended research use of the products is lawful where you are. We may refuse service to anyone who does not meet these requirements.
An order submitted through the Site is an offer to purchase, not a concluded contract. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order, in whole or in part, for any lawful reason. An order confirmation email acknowledges receipt but does not constitute acceptance; acceptance occurs only when we dispatch your order. Until then, we may cancel or adjust an order, for example where a product is unavailable or a pricing error has occurred.
All orders are subject to a minimum order value of $500 CAD, applied to the product subtotal before discounts. Products are sold by the kit. Full detail on How Ordering Works.
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars and may change at any time without notice, though changes do not affect orders we have already accepted. Applicable Canadian taxes, where they apply, are shown at checkout before you pay.
Payment is made by Interac e-Transfer using the instructions on your order confirmation. Your order is processed and dispatched only after payment is received in full for the exact order total. Orders paid before noon PT are typically dispatched the same business day. Unpaid orders may be held while stock is reserved and then released. See Paying by Interac e-Transfer.
Kit-tier discounts apply automatically as described on Bulk Pricing & Kit Tiers. Trade account pricing is governed by the Trade Accounts terms, including the monthly committed spend, and is granted and maintained at our discretion.
We ship within Canada only, from our Canadian warehouse, which means no customs delays and no import fees. Shipping costs, dispatch timing, transit estimates, and packaging are set out on Shipping Policy and Freight & Delivery.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. We are not responsible for orders delayed, returned, or lost because of an incorrect or incomplete address, or for re-shipping costs on returned packages. Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.
Because of the nature of research compounds, all sales are final except in the limited circumstances described in our Refund & Returns Policy. That policy sets out when a refund, replacement, or credit may be considered, the reporting windows that apply, and the documentation required. Please read it before ordering, as it forms part of these Terms.
You may request cancellation of an order that has not yet been processed for dispatch. Once a tracking number has been generated, the order cannot be cancelled and any issue is handled through the returns process.
We work hard to ensure product descriptions, specifications, and certificates of analysis are accurate and current, and every batch is third-party tested as described on Quality & Lab Testing. Even so, we do not warrant that all content on the Site is error-free or complete. Products are subject to availability, and we may add, modify, or discontinue any product at any time.
Research compounds require appropriate knowledge, facilities, and handling. By purchasing, you assume all responsibility and risk for the storage, handling, and research use of any product, and for compliance with every law and safety requirement that applies to you. Guidance such as our Storage & Handling and Reconstitution Guide is provided as general information only and does not transfer any responsibility to us.
Products are supplied for research use with the quality documentation described on the Site. To the fullest extent permitted by law, and except as expressly stated, the Site and all products are provided without further warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits any warranty or right that cannot be excluded under applicable Canadian consumer protection law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pep Depot and its suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or any product, including any use beyond the intended research purpose. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pep Depot, its owners, and its suppliers from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of any product, or your violation of any law in connection with a purchase.
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to interfere with its operation, access it through automated means without permission, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or close any account that breaches these Terms.
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, product imagery, and layout, is the property of Pep Depot or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or use any content without our prior written permission.
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect and how we use it. By using the Site, you consent to the practices described there.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with its effective date, and changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Site or placement of an order after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
